Students Find Success in the Independent Sector

• Graduation rates for first-time students entering a baccalaureate program at New York’s private, not-for-profit colleges and universities have increased steadily over the decade.
• The Independent Sector’s six-year graduation rate exceeds the national rate for Independent Sector institutions, 65 percent.[1]
