Leading the Way on Teacher Education

• As the education landscape changes, preparation of a highly competent teacher workforce remains a high priority.  With locations across New York State and a range of educational models, New York’s private, not-for-profit colleges and universities are helping prepare the strongest, most diverse cadre of educators.
• More than six in 10 graduate degrees in teacher and school leader preparation (65%) are awarded by private, not-for-profit colleges and universities. [1]
