APTS offers financial assistance to New York State students enrolled in at least 3 (but fewer than 12) credit hours per semester at a degree-granting postsecondary institution. Unlike TAP, APTS is distributed to participating colleges and universities in New York State. Financial aid administrators select potential recipients from eligible students and allocate funding based on available funds and student needs. Eligibility is based on New York State net taxable income. For more information on APTS, click here.
