Katie Kerner

Project Assistant

Katie graduated from Le Moyne College in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. As a student athlete, Katie was a part of the 2018 Division II National Championship Women’s Lacrosse team. A winner of the 2019 Yeardley Reynolds Love Unsung Hero Award, Katie focused her attention on using their platform to spread awareness on a variety of causes, including but not limited to, pediatric cancer, relationship violence, and sexual assault in the military. 

Prior to graduating college, Katie spent several years interning in different fields. She worked for Senator Kirsten Gillibrand assisting in the review of a variety of public policy issues.  Katie also has experience in criminal and civil court proceedings where she assisted court personnel with filing of court documents and organizing court docket at the Saratoga City Court. With her background as a student athlete, Katie also interned at the Atlantic Coast Conference where she was exposed to all aspects of the business operations for a National Division I collegiate athletic conference, with a focus on legal, compliance, and marketing programs.
