Campus Description
Sage College of Albany is located in the University Heights neighborhood of New York's capital city. Besides its own park-like campus, Sage shares the adjacent 31 acre University Heights Commons with consortium partners Albany Medical College, Albany College of Pharmacy and Albany Law School. SCA is a coeducational, four-year college specializing in the professional fields of art and design, business, communications, computer and information science and legal studies, with interdisciplinary degrees in the arts and sciences. SCA's Albany location facilitates a wide range of internships and field experiences. SCA also offers the bachelor's degree in physical education, in articulation with Hudson Valley Community College, on the HVCC campus. Facilities in Albany include a new fine arts studio building and the Opalka Art Gallery, as well as the technology-rich Froman Hall and Kahl Campus Center. SCA also servers returning students. Sage College of Albany is a member of the Sage Colleges, which also include Russell Sage College for women in Troy, NY, and the coeducational Sage Graduate School; the Graduate School offers programs on both campuses.
