Campus Description
Metropolitan College of New York's campus is conveniently located in Lower Manhattan, next to the financial district and the exciting media and art communities of Soho and TriBeCa.

The College offers certificate, associate's, bachelor's, and master's degrees in two schools: The Audrey Cohen School for Human Services and Education and the School of Management. MCNY's curriculum focuses on practical skills and knowledge in workplace settings. It's experiential approach, called Purpose Centered Education, requires each student to create a specific, real-world solution to an issue needing attention within the student's workplace each semester.

Most students attend full-time for 3 semesters per year, which enables them to complete an associate's degree in one year and four months, a bachelor's degree in two years and eight months, and a master's in one year. Part-time students are also welcome.

Undergraduate students with substantial work experience and previous education may be eligible to receive exemption from up to three semesters of coursework through the Advanced Standing Option. The College also awards a maximum of 32 credits through the CLEP exam. Additionally, undergraduate transfer applicants may be able to obtain up to 64 transfer credits.
