Campus Description
Founded in 1904 as the first Catholic college for women in New York State, today The College of New Rochelle is comprised of four schools: the all-women School of Arts and Sciences, offering a baccalaureate program in the liberal arts and professionally-oriented fields, and three coeducational schools: the School of Nursing, offering baccalaureate and master's degree programs in nursing, the School of New Resources, offering a baccalaureate program especially designed for adults, and the Graduate School, offering master's degree programs in art, communication arts, education and human services.
The College is located in lower Westchester county, 16 miles north of midtown Manhattan. In addition, the School of New Resources maintains five branch locations in New York City.
